A deeper understanding

Materials covered in each program

Safety

When handling and working with horses, safety should never be overlooked. We believe teaching safety practices to keep the student and the horse as safe as possible.

Husbandry

Understanding good husbandry is the key to having a rewarding, symbiotic relationship with the horse. This includes best care practices, such as grooming, hoof care, equine diets, stable care, and all the routine care of the horse.

Equine Communication

To become a great rider, you have to know how to “speak horse”. Recognizing the subtle signs of equine communication and how to effectively communicate back to them is how you become a great horsemen/women. Most “problem” horses aren’t the problem, but the handler is, simply because they’re misunderstanding the horse’s needs. Our goal is never just to create riders, but to create truly skilled horsemen/women.
